where did you manage to find a burned out EVO??? I dont imagine there are many of that model available lol. At least you dont have to remove the sound deadening material now lol. Good Luck with that project!!!!!

hehe.... the car has been sanded down before painting, tahts why the look of burned.

S ound deadening was almost 13 kgs, was taken out several months ago.

FIA approved mainhoop 45x3mm
the rest is 42x2,5mm

changed the two rubber bushings for the gearlinkage to two ballbearings, same size exactly as the ballbearings from In-line-skates.

Now the gearshifting feel almost a little "seqvential 8)



My friend Bobsi has put in some serious time sanding the roof with the welded sunroof.


Been building some minor styff, like raising the gear-thingy some 70mm up. & also removed all the rubber bushings.



& Staffan came by with my new F1-style mirrors.

Version 2 of the raising of the gearlever-thingy...

This aluminium rack raises the gearknob som 85mm old one was 70mm, & it also puts it some 35mm to the left (remember i LHD -converted the car.






I also covered the dashboard with speaker-material (dont know the english name for it)

What are doing to strenthen the driveshafts?
Cuz i know that the Tokyo drift car had a GTO differential.

Nothing, since they can cope with up o 1000bhp stock.

TokyoDrift car was 100% stock is what i heard in person, from one of the stuntdrivers - It did not even have a welded centrediff.
