Rhys defeated! series photos!
These are pictures of the Top Secret S15 which was on display at super autobacs this week, Defeating the GTO and nocking him out of the final 8! These are of the practice run and the first run with the top secret car leading. I have pictures of the GTO leading too, but it was the first real run that sealed its fate! everyone watch.

The GTO just couldn't get the same angle.I highlighted the GTO for easier viewing. His angles and entries are no where near the same. The S15 seems to be entering faster and earlier at a sharper angle from what I can see in the pics.

THE GTOs FATE IS SEALED!!!!!!
oh man, better luck next year. he would of had to pull of a mirical on his second run to win, and it just didnt happen, he stuck to the s15, but not very tight, deffenately not tight enough to win.
edit: he was being chased not following second lap. i was confused when i typed that. Anyways the S15 stuck to him pretty good. Last edited by nissanguy_24; 02-29-2004 at 10:40 PM. |

Damn he cant shake the S15... But hes doing alright the S15 isnt pressuring him as hard as some of the japanese drivers have been doing to each other lately.... perhaps he knows the weight of the car in front of him and doesnt want an accident..

Silence... Everyone understood that the GTO was unable to get away from the Japanese car... and do to its inability to follow in the previous lap it had lost...
dont worry we will be back! |

The camaro drifter guy

the biggest problem I cant think of is that the car is still so new and fresh to him. Hell it took me almost a year to finnaly tune my car to slide right. O_o Although thats with just me myself and I working on the car to figure it out. To many adjustible parts haha...but considering hes a pro racer and has a team behind him. He'll probably have the car tuned right when the time comes.

that whole, "yeah but he did better then you!" arguement, really doesnt fly when were talking pro level drifting. I mean yeah he did better then i could of. but he wasnt competiting against me, he was competting against the pros.
but i still think he did good considering how new the car was, but like someone said earlier, it just wasnt fun to watch. Once he commited to an angle or a turn he was stuck. Probably why he seemed so cautious when he ran side by side. Anyways im no expert. |

I have better pics than anyone else. They are all to big to post tho, so how do I make them smaller?

Perhaps the domestic makes, well pontiac, will understand what we have been saying about lighter sports cars this whole time.
See weight doesnt mater if the only races your involved in use tube frame bodys that are painted to look like the car there suposed to be. |

Car design aside......
at some point in your life you'll realize that its important for Americans to be a part of a sport they are funding. Back to car design: I too hope that better designs will come from US plants. I will be the first to buy when they do So maybe competition at D1 will lead to sum 'out of the ordinary thinking' for US car makers....
