Umm if I'm right. Mopar = Dodge. Sorta like Nismo = Nissan or TRD = Toyota. If i'm wrong somebody correct me.

Nice pics.

back in the day it was called chrysler MOtor PARts .... then they just made it MOPAR for short.... MOPAR is the performance category of Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth. so ya, ya got it right pretty much hehe.

in the muscle car era it was like this:
Chrysler = Luxury
Dodge = Affordability
Plymouth = Sportiness/Racing

some more useless info for ya

Man my eyes skipped right over the "in the muscle car era it was like this" too, Went straight to the equals signs, then to the next post. those equal signs must be attention getters.

The Jasper Supra's current driver will drive the Drift Mustang from Ford.. that has already been desided by fate.

I'm a diehard Chevy guy, but I think Ford has the coolest cars out right now as far as Domestics go. The new Shelby Cobra, the GT40, and the Mustang GTR. I'd love to see any of them drifting. All chevy got is the Z06, which is cool, but wont make up for those three that Ford has. Cmon Chevy, we need a 5th Gen Camaro!

Yea Chevy is talking about a new Camero based on the old body style like the new Mustang in about 2007. and the talk is that it will be powered by the 3rd gen LS-1....whoa. BUT!!! even more exciting news is that Nissan will realese the Skyline in about 2007 also...a U.S. realese of the skyline...now THAT is major!

Not just any skyline.. But the new GT-R edition. We already get the current skyline in the G35. That is already considered an awesome sports car, and sports sedan... And thats not even the sports version... I get giddy thinking about the new skyline. All together we have some very very interesting years comming up. So many great cars from Japan and America comming out. Assuming high gas prices doesnt kill it. We should have a very interesting Market out there. Lots of high performance cars out there all with in the reach of the common man.

What if europe has anything affordable on deck? well we are getting the Lotus Elise here now too.
