s13 ute
hey there, im not sure if this topic has been covered yet,
but im looking for pictures of the team orange (i think thats what its called) s13 ute. i compete in the D1NZ drift series in new zealand and am half way through the build of my own s13 ute so just looking for more ideas.

Hey what are you gonna use to finish the bed with?? diamond plate like that orange one?? I was really thinking about doing one this summer, because my dad said he wanted to do some project with me, and he hadn't thought of one yet. It's looking good by the way. Oh and did anybody see that old, red skyline a little further down the page?? That thing is really nice.

im going to line it with spray on deck liner , like a rubber coating.
the main reason for building the ute was so i could carry more tires,as in coupe form i could only fit 2 spare sets, and that only lasts a couple of runs. dimond plate will look good but its not very practical as whatever i put in the tray will just slide around all over the place.

cool dude, yeah i don't like the diamond plate look too much, it is too shiny. I would like to use something like rhino liner or something like that. wouldn't look too good, but that doesn't bother me too much. good job though.

That is so awesome. I am in love. I am not going to chop up my S13 though. Diamond plate would also way more. Another good thing about the ute (Why do they call it that?) is if you rip your bumper off you can just throw it in the back. That is what the Drift Xtreme team does when it happens to them.

we call ita ute because once the back is cut off and a tray built it becomes like the other nissan utes like navara ect,
just a much nicer looking one.
