Doh...

Markeese you aren't going to like me then. hehehe. I borrowed those rims from my friend so I can get my business card done. Still waiting on some Japanese rims. I had Buddy Club but they were 18x8 and they rubbed like CRAZY. Waiting on some 18x7.5's in gunmetal. Gotta love those dumpsters in the back of that one pic! hahaha. Take care!

18x8 should clear without ANY issues..sounds like a tire size issue to me or an offset issue. Were you running hipari (japanese for "stretched") tire? I run a 215/40/17 on an 8J rim. Handling characteristics are much better when stretching the tire on the rim..it stiffens up the sidewalls for extremely low flex.

The fact that they were 18x8 AND the offset were an issue. The guy felt bad because he thought they'd fit so he took them back. I really LOVED the look of the Buddy Club Rims though. 18's are not ideal for WRX's, most scooby owner stick to 17's. With the body kit that I have though, 17's look like 13's.

it doesnt look like any rally car ive ever seen. I was just saying that cuz Orido was saying it in one of my touge showdown vids. It was a celcia, it had like the perfect setup for the touge but they hated cuz it looked like it was an SUV from far away cuz how high it was

well..

You obviously have not seen rally cars then my friend, you have been blinded by drift/roadrace cars. His car is the spitting image of a rally car.

Dude MrodDrft, do you read? Should I quote it for you again? "HIS CAR IS THE SPITTING IMAGE OF A RALLY CAR" Did I say mine? No. Man, I've read your posts on this entire board, you seem awfully hell bent on bagging on people. When you said it doesn't look like any rally car you had seen, I figured you were talking about his car. Just for arguments sake, does mine not look like a rally car because it is clean and has a bodykit? Does it lose it's ability to be AWD? Does it lose it's rally performance because of it? Obviously you've pigeonholed me as having only a show car therefore my car should be lowered and not have a "SUV" ride height. It is a WRX and it will be used for both rally and roadrace.
