camera phone

here's a pic i took while riding in the b*tch seat while coming back from work. it's a S14 with a nissan silvia conversion. i'll get more pics when i see more "JDM" carswith conversions out there. i only took this part of the car cuz i didn't want the driver (driving) inthe next lane to look suspicious, so here goes. too bad i didn't get his front bumper

Yeah i agree... You know the only difference in the S14 240 and Silvia were the badges.. (aside from the engine of course) did it have Silvia badges?

Is it just me, or are the wheels from an Eclipse?

Oh yeah, I think that the S14 at the bottom is the Kouki.

95 - 96 240sx = Zenki S14
97 - 98 240sx = Kouki S14

And i do believe that in Japanese, zenki means earlier, and kouki means later. like in 180sx's...we got the zenki 180sx in the form of 89-94 240sx. then they cut production to the 180sx in the states when the kouki 180sx came out in japan (95), which had the SR20DET rather than the CA18DET.....thats why the correct title for a type X 180 whenever you see them in mags and *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* is a Kouki 180sx Type X.....hope that helps...

i dont know how many times ive posted the difference between zenki and kouki s14.

zenki - before, early
USDM 95 - 97 JDM 93 - 96
USDM Production
95 - 25,114
96 - 7,334
Exterior includes plastic (roundish) headlights(USDM) glass headlights (everywhere but USDM) "smooth" taillights

kouki - after, late (bad breath)
USDM 97-98 JDM 96 - 99
USDM Production
97 - 3,655
98 - 2,178
Exterior includes glass (angryish) headlights small projectors(USDM) large projectors (everywhere but USDM) "bumpy" taillights

They made less then 6000 kouki S14s.. thats why when i the guy found the auto for such a good price a few weeks ago i told him to buy it then swap out the transmission.. By comparison they sold something like 250k S13s every year of production.

My cousin's girlfriend has a green 97 kouki SE. It's the only kouki located in my area. Unless you go to Autobacs where they have some show cars and stuff...Which is like 4 miles away from where I live.
