Car & Driver said the GTO was better for drifting because it had a stiffer suspension and didnt understeer as much as the mustang...as for the hp. that just helps get the rear tires loose

I dunno, I would consider the Mustang better purely because of the weight differences. I think people forget about how much modification Rhys and his team had to do to that GTO to make it competitive. I think people automatically think its a great drifting platform because they saw that car first. *shrug*
