Drift+Drag Volvo 240

I think you guys all need to see this. It is "Jesus'" Volvo 242. it was 595 hp last i checked and he drag races it and he even drifts it. He is planning on upgrading his turbo from the one he has now from a 7.0 liter volvo truck to one from a 9.0 liter volvo truck. He also plans to add nitrous to make it the fastest Volvo in Sweden at well over 1000hp. For vids, go to his site: http://www.jesus242tic.se/jesus/icon...ropean_car.pdf http://www.jesus242tic.se

Yeah, i've loved this car sence it appeared in european car, there are a couple people running around with the hybrid engine that he has, in fact one guy a couple miles from here has one.

My first "fun" car was a volvo 240, and before I got my corolla I had a 242 group a package (one of 500) in which I was hoping to build up one of these engines, because aside from the engine management (not really that big of a deal) its a relativly easy way to get 300-600 hp.

It would be cool to see more of the cool old european cars in the sport (242's, 2002's, first gen m3's, gtv's ect. ect.)

I've had a 1979 scirocco with some badass suspension and a quaife. For those of you who say you cant flick a ff car sideways, you should have come for a ride in that thing.

Good times.

Since we are talking old school Euro cars, here is some pics of my old bimmer i used to autocross in...that is before two trees ended her life...damn hurricane Ivan...

It's a 1983 320iS with the sport package (ie: LSD, Bilsteins, Recaro seats that are extrememly torn up note the duct tape repairs, and fully debadged) The previous owner put in a 5 speed from an E30 model too. Oh and it weighs 1957 lbs! A far cry from the featherweight Scirocco hehe

I have a Volvo 242 & a BMW 2002. They are both killer platforms to build drift cars.
