Awesome, get's better the more I drive it. Runs good, sounds like gangbusters and handles great. Going to tune her up and then should be good to go.
Adam also owns the fly yellow 240 that I have posted before, if you didn't see it, here it is. ![]()

thats awsome! how did you do the suspension, plus what kind of body pieces are those on that 280? custom, or can they be purchased?

The suspension is KYB with Eibach springs on the back (yellow) and blue on the front, not sure of the make.
The panels are all hand rolled and fabbed steel. The nose and tail section are also hand rolled steel. No fiberglass on the car anywhere. The hood is custom with louvers added and a reverse scoop added as well. There is a custom sunroof put into it (which I hate) and a dash as well. Even with all the steel added, the car feels lighter than a stock one due to everything being taken out of it. I will get it weighed at the truck stop to confirm this. Thanks guys.

I still can't believe that thing is all steel. That's truly becoming a lost art in this day and age. And the car is one of a kind...I'll see it in person, someday!

Well, I didn't see the car in reality, I didn't see anything except these photos, and I don't even know the specs of the car, and I also don't know Ghost personally, so how can I know how it will perform, Parry?

If you had seen any of ghost's other posts or comments you would quickly realize that unlike 3/4 of this board he knows his stuff. On top of that, I found the comment somewhat insulting. Not that I'm ever polite but hey...nobody's perfect. Last edited by Parry; 09-21-2004 at 11:32 AM. |

Yea, I used to help out teaching stunt driving in Seattle.
The car was finished by Adam and myself, Adam mostly, the bodywork was done by some guy in Atlanta. I don't know him but if he somehow reads this, you rule. The car isn't too shabby. It is still working out some kinks and stuff, the handling is a little scary at this point. Going to get it aligned and all that jazz. But around town, it is downright nasty. People almost wipe looking at it. I feel like Jesse James riding around in that thing with it being all steel. Well, Jesse "didn't actually do the bodywork" James.
