Cost to Build a competitive and reliable PRO-Drift Car?

Please post your opinion on this thread
You can break this down by engine class and chassis

Not including the cost of the car itself. I would say about 35-40k would build you a solid car. If you want to be competitive and have the reliability to do so regularly. I'm sure you could do it for less But if we are talking about FD/D1 status it would prove difficult.

For a competitive car it would be $80k-$120k

Top tier cars have a tremendous amount of time, refinement, and spares that aren't usually accounted for within the costs of the car itself.

Blu808 is right if you want a top level car be ready to pay. R&D cost could be Much highter for a new car.. Even a top thirtytwo car could be 60k plus for a good car. Build cost will vary from shop to shop and Quality of the build.
