New To Drifting, Searching Tips
I figured that alot of people are saying they search and still dont find what they are looking for, even though we all know it is out there. The internet is the largest source of information avaible in the world today. It allows Billions, to communicate in 3 differnt forms of media, it also houses info on just about every subject ever conceviced.
Tips for your searches, ~ Make sure you spell the worlds correctly, some search engines auto correct some dont. ~Dont always including Drifting in the name of the search, everything covered in drifting is covered in other forms of racing, and to aspire you need to learn all the other stuff, like how to see, and follow the best line. ~Fourms, they are great, not just this one, any one... just look around read what others write and if your extra serious take notes... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Tips for gaining knowlage on racing or drifting out side of the internet. Books, They'res a list of books which I will post later, that is very helpful to any aspireing driver. Garages, The best way to learn TECH is to do it yourself, try to figure the stuff out by yourself first. If you can figure it out, then ask a friend, if they cant figure it out, come and search your problem on here if you still cant find it, serach the internet if you really honestly cant find what your looking for... Ask... The Libaray should never be doubted, if your broke and need to get a certain book, check it out at the libaray. While studying Bookmark import pages to remeber, and highlight what you use most often. It will help. Also reading a tech book before doing anything to your car will help alot. Anything else that I missed? Last edited by panda_3ight_6; 07-15-2004 at 03:12 PM. |

Good post - also see mine and NissanGuy_24's signatures
There's a good thread in the Tech section about books - $20 spent at Borders (or even just by hanging around a reading a little) will be much more educational than a whole day on the boards. -MR |
