Yes, it ran a full season in 2007 but only made top 16 one time (Sonoma, round 5).

In 2008, it changed liveries (black and red), and was totaled halfway thru the season (I think at Englishtown?) and Yamamoto finished the season in an S13 (I think the one that later became Dai's car).

It did get totalled at Englishtown. The s13 that is Dai's was Ross Petty's that year so it can't be the same one.

The HKS S15 still exists. It went to the US and was the Rockstar S15 Dai drove in 2007. Then it went to Falken and is now the Falken S15.

i know it wasn't the best chassis and wasn't very successful, but always kind of liked the Discount Tire IS350. not sure why. maybe because it reminds me of Saito and Takahashi's Chasers in D1.

I have never seen this car take a lap personaly.... did it ever make a complete season?

you know what... i really cant tell you if it made a full season, but i have seen it do irwindale.. i cant remember if it did any other tracks.

Hubinette when he used to kill it

Ironically, Hubinette didn't win a single event in '08 / '09 when he un-retired the viper (and it was white, then chrome). He hit 3 2nd places and a 3rd, and finished those seasons in 3rd and 4th overall, but not a single win. Hard to believe!
