    Media
    Drivers that have videographers/photographers, please have them read and fill out the media waiver form. We are limiting media personal to professionals/semi professionals that have good legitimate equipment. I.e. Point and shoot cameras will not be allowed on track media credentials. Media will need to fill out the Vegasdrift LLC Media Application/Credential form, 7 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT, The form is a PDF fillable form and can be downloaded HERE (there will be no On-Site Media Registraiton) Mandatory Media meeting will be held at 8:45AM


    Some Frequently Asked Questions

    Q: Will there be on-site tire changing?
    A: Yes

    Q: I do not have a cage will i be able to participate?
    A: Yes - you will be able to practice in a "Non-Caged" Practice Run Group (no tandem) and have the opportunity to earn points from Qualifying, but you will not be able to move forward in the competition to the "Top 8" or "Top 16" You will have to pass a normal "Vegasdrift Practice Event Tech inspection" the tech sheet can be found Here

    Q: Will I be able to participate in Tandem with a bolt in cage?
    A: Yes, you can have a bolt in cage, but you must have welded in door bars. SFI padding is still required in the Drivers Head Space Area.

    Q: How many "racing/bucket" seats are required for Tandem?
    A: You will only need one "Bucket" Seat and one certified harness

    Q: Do i need a full fire suppression system?
    A: We require at minimum one 2lbs extinguisher mounted securely with a quick release, within an arms distance, while the driver is seated.

    Q: Does my Battery need to be relocated to the Trunk, or inside the car?
    A: No. But for tandem we do require a cut off switch that will shut the car down, and it must be secured properly with the positive terminal insulated.

    Q: Can I pick my own number?
    A: Yes, we will be taking special number requests for $15.00 a set. The order must be place by June 5th 2013. If you do not want custom numbers you will receive one free set, any additional sets will be $15.00 each If you already chose a custom number that is your number for the year. If you were issued a Standard Number Plate, and wish to have a custom # during registration checkout you can select the option.

    There is also a concurrent practice event that will be running on other portions of the LVMS outside Road Course.

    What: VegasDrift Practice Vd029 (Practice Event)
    Where: Outside Road Course @ LVMS
    When: August 31st (Saturday) 6:30am-5pm
    Cost: $130.00
    Venue Gate Fee: $10.00 – Children Under 12 $5.00

    This is a practice event for 1st timer, novice, intermediate and expert level drivers. Practice event will include access to Outside Road Course "Practice layout and Skidpad." Drift instruction is always available upon request!
