You guys are crazy to just "plug" coolant lines and expect the turbo to be reliable.

      OK....

      assuming you have s13

There are 2 lines from the front center of the block that go to the turbo these are the oil and water feed's. I believe the smaller line (the one with the 17mm bolt head is oil) the other is water. The oil return is just a rubber hose that goes to bottom rear of the block from the bottom of the turbo. if you have those 2 connected you have oil running through the turbo. there is also a metal line that should bolt onto the back center of the turbo that comes from the back of the motor this is your coolant return. So if you have all 3 of those connected the only thing you are missing is the coolant feed in which you can just buy a custom water line from K's Factory or get a whole new kit from here. http://www.store.yahoo.com/phase2mot...srt25tuli.html

I also reccomend you get this http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...gory_Code=GTBB
right at the oil feed on the turbo. and restrict oil so you do not blow the seals.

Back in the day with older non ball bearing turbos (sleeve bearing) you could get away fine with running just oil. But with Ball bearing and dual ball bearing turbos they do not run near as much oil through them so the oil does not cool them well at all. they were designed to use water for coolant. Will blocking the water line work yes.......will the turbo last ? Most likely not......

      Hope this helps
