I've seen a few slide squad vids, you guys are awesome!

does that rb25 give any more understeer than other engines in an s13? or its not even noticeable?

Yeah, i would like to know how the rb25 drifts compares to the other options out there as well.

I thought this question would come up haha. A lot of people on the net speculate and think the RB won't drift in the S13, well they're wrong. The car actually feels really neutral with the RB. I was expecting heavy understeer when I put the motor in, but I don't really notice any understeer at all. Good suspension set up can help overcome understeer. I indeed did the swap myself. I did all the work on the car, from body and paint work, to the motor swap, wiring, custom fabrication, etc, only thing I didn't do was the custom made drive shaft. I mounted the motor as low and far back as possible to the firewall so the weight distribution is better than using the R33 crossmember and mount method (which sits the motor too high and far forward). Some of the drifters in Japan complain of the front of the S13 with SR to be TOO light, and this causes understeer because there isn't enough weight over the front wheels for them to get good weight transfer for traction. As you can see in the video the RB has no problem drifting, I like it better than my old SR powered S13, can't beat the sound!

it sounds amazing. i was gonna ask you for a ride at dd12 but i didnt have a helmet with me. i must say you did quite well out there, even with that intercooler piping pop off.
maybe one of the next events i can hitch a ride?

It must be really easy lighting the tires up with the RB25. Have you done anything to the engine as far as aftermarket stuff goes? BTW nice vid!

Could you post some pictures of your car? It looked really nice in the video but I'd rather see some close-ups.
