  • Hi there - I´m new here

Greetings from the land of the midning sun - Sweden.

My name is Kristian Hesselmark, 33yrs old.

I´m the proud owner (until recently) of swedens first ever registred AE86 Levin.

(My friend imported his Levin last sunday)

    My AE86 is an 1986.

It has roughly 150 000 miles on the clocks & is in near mint condition.
I found it in Denmark (next door country)

    Se my car here:

    http://www.dragoncars.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=299

Drifting has just recently started up in Sweden & just last weekend i attended Scandinavia´s biggest carmeeting i Norway, with drifting competition, tracktime & a LOT of babes with minimal clothes.

I have a 22minute (205mB) movie that we filmed there
with onboard camera action with my AE86 & lots more action.

if anyone has the serverspace to host this movie, i´ll gladly
sent it to yo by snailmail on a CD.

    Sincerly /
    Kristian Hesselmark - Sweden

Awesome. I'm a newbie here too. I don't currently have a drift car (the engine is ruined), but I would love to get an AE86.

WOw, in sweden, drifting...who ever thought!!! You have a cool car, what insipired you to get the AE86 Levin? That should work well as a drifter. Pretty |3ad@ss picture of you lighting up the tires.

            thanxs guys

Well.. it did feel very nice at first - but after i posted pics & information about my car om´n swedens biggest car-forum (www.zatzy.com) i didnt feel at all as good... Cause the swedes have almost no idea what kind of car the AE86 is & they know nothing about its history.

about 95% of reply´s in my topics about the car & drifting have resulted in treads being locked & withdrawn.

In sweden it´s hard for people to fell glad for other people.
            it´s mostly Saabs turbo´s, BMW´s & Volvo turbo´s here.

What really inspired me to try to & get an AE86 was an short movieclip on the internet called "Streetdrift2" (drifting in the japanese industrial estate in the day)

The car feels great & i have just ordered chassie parts for about 1500 dollars.

            Sincerely/
            Kristian......
