No not really...

...that's all I got - talk to Emission, he knows all when it comes to Toyota's. I'm sure other people probably know too, but I'm not really into all that JDM stuff.

in america they did release a chaser under the name of a toyota cressada, and you can usually find them for around a grand since they (i think) only saw the market for a couple years in the late 80's, early 90's, and didn't really catch on.. now they are RWD and i believe they come stock with a 6 cyl engine of some sort, however they're all auto's.. the mk2 or the mk3 (can't remember which one) manual transmition can be swapped into it pretty easily..

85-87 cressida (the best looking one) had manual trans and lsd as options. only 88 and later were AT only. You can use alot of mk3 supra parts including drivetrain. BTW, the cressida was in the us for alot fo years you werre just a little kid at the time . Here's some info pages to look at:

turbo swap is easy along with the 5 speed..
fun car..but only way to get sus parts for the most part is to have a hook up in jdm land..rest of the stuff...motor wise is easy
