If you have the money, time, and knowledge you can take apart the head and inspect the block and heads and whatnot for wear... its a good way to predict future problems if you know what your doing and what your looking for.

Magic Wish Liquids are retarded. Just take the best care of the engine you can. There is not much else you can do. Replacing stuff at recomended times instead of when they go bad also helps but not many people do that and if you replace it as soon as it goes bad and don't drive on it much it also reduces wear. I would say, instead of buying stupid liquid fixes, save your money for when the motor does take a dump on your happieness and then replace or rebuild. You can not make a motor last forever, it is sad, I know.
