Question lsd in my s14...

i have a 98 s14 se

i want to buy an lsd but dont want to get a new one just yet..

can i get one out of another car or get one of a s15 or another s14???

i know i have vlsd but im pretty sure its worn out.. can any one help???

VLSDs are gross, unpredictable little things. The S15 Helical (sp?) LSD isn't any better.

I'd save up for a clutch-type 1.5/2 way.

I usually defend VLSDs.

But since yours is worn out, a clutch-type is the best direction to head.

your car is a 98. i highly doubt you have worn the vlsd past its point of being used. change the fluid. if both tires light up doing a burnout and you can do a donut either way with both tires spinning its working fine.

and for drifitng vlsd is fine. just change the fluid. if you cant do it take it to an oil change place and they should be able to do it for you. but try to use some kind of synthetic gear lubricant with gl-5

well only one tire spins ny which way try.. plus im working on upgrading almost everything on my car....i want cusco.. but many people say kaaz .. then i also want nismo.. but many more say kaaz

kaaz is cheaper. i honestly doubt you will notice a difference.
