1986 Rx-7 turbo kits

I own a 1986 Rx-7 NA and I wanted to know if there was a company who made a turbo kit for my car. I've seen them 1987 Rx-7s.

Re: 1986 Rx-7 turbo kits

not that I know of. It's generally a bad idea to make a NA motor into a turbo. There were a handful of supercharger kits but I think pretty much all of them ceased production a couple years back.

Depending on your plans, the NA is probably suitable for your needs. If you decide you need a turbo I'd suggest buying a TII. They can be found regularly for less than 3 grand.

fc3s.org currently in the process of making one. i've seen a few n/a turbo setups and they safely ran 10psi with fuel mods ect... but if you're going to do your own setup it's going to be custom everything so you'd be better off getting a TII.

Get a TII, DO NOT TURBO A NA. It is do able.

Heres a few links that may help you if you do decide to turbo the NA.

There have been no kits tested or formally made, however you may wish to try this company who claims they made one

Most people that turbo a N/A make their own kits:
