Question S13- Power door lock

Has anyone had problems with the driver side door cylinder not locking/unlocking? The key will not turn in either direction. I stopped cause I didn't want the key to snap. The inside latch is kinda stiff but works. Now I have to go thru the passenger side and unlock the door from the inside. Wazup?

I had the same problem. Then I took out the driver's lock cylinder and taped up the hole. What happened was that the resistance spring's mounting tabs broke off and the lock cylinder just spun freely.

I'm too cheap to replace the lock.

No man. My key will not turn or budge in the slightest. Could it be like a solenoid or something behind the door?

Maybe your spring got jammed? Take the door apart and have a look-see.
