RPS13 questions
hey guys, i finally got my RPS13 running, however, i am still having some problems with it. the biggest one is that my tachometer doesnt work, although the rest of the gauges do. second, im trying to install the pivot headlight controller, and while i do have the instructions that next level motoring gave me, they put this big add right in the middle, so they are pretty much useless to me. so if some one could please tell me which wires do what, that would be great. i already know where to hook them into the system, i just need to know what wire is ground and which is the power source. BTW, my car is a 91. if anyone knows at least what i can check to figure out my tach problem that would be super. thanks for your time guys.

for the pivot controller the wire with the fuse on it is the ground i think its red or something i forget on mine i know its opp for some odd reason. if that doesn't help you.. let me know i'll go look at my install for the pivot.. as for your tach not working make sure the ecu is pluged in good.. if its not that then not sure..

thanks for replying, yeah, the red wire is ground, i know for sure and i know that the grey wire is the positive wire on the headlight unit...if you could look up the other two, that would be super.

oh your talking about the other 2 wires ok.. the black and yellow one.. do you know where the white box for the head light controller is.. its in the driver side kick panel. theres a pink wire in there you cut that in half and and put the black wire to one end and the yellow to the other end forgot which side wire goes with the black and yellow but just tape them together and test it. If you need more detail on it i can take pics of my install this weekend. its really simple just trying to think from the top of my head. Yes that is my s13 in my avatar.. pic.. thank you very much..
