RHD to LHD conversion for an S13 K's

Hi,

I need to know what it takes to do a RHD to LHD conversion for an S13 K's.
What parts do i need to change? Does it require lots of drilling/bashing/smashing?

Greets

considering i am doing a left to right i'll tell you first u need a donor car aka usdm 240 sx second the dash and dash support will be needed because LHD dosent fit on a RHD dash support then cut the firewall from the s-13 trash it replace with the firewall from the 240 also u might want to use the steering system from the 240 and last but not least alot of time

Well, why would you do this? Save yourself the trouble/large amount of money, and buy a 240sx. From there do an SR20 swap and Silvia front end conversion.

you'd need the dash, steering column, steering rack, master cylinder, slave cylinder, and i'm sure there are other misc. parts as well.....and yes it requires lots of drilling, smashing, etc.

Do any of you guys have experience on driving a RHD car on LHD roads?
I'm asking this because i want to import an S13 from Japan (no i'm not in the US ).

Thanks and Greetings,

Matt

its really not as bad as you'd think.......a couple of hours in the car and you're straight......parallel parking takes a little getting used to.....as do right hand turns...but in all reality you should be fine.....you think you're going to mess up the shifting but you don't even think about it....its so second nature

Late,
Daniel

Just drive with someone at first, i trailed of a bit to the right but you get used to it.Making left hand turns on an intersection is kinda scary so I just wait till its yellow. I used to drive a silvia ,now im just waiting for my 180sx and my gt-r to get here.

its not that bad, i offten find my self liking it better. When i go back to lhd cars and drive them i get the blinkers confused and i always catch my self going to the passenger side to drive off lol. I think its a little safer to be on that side incase of head on colisions... I have had a few police officers take a liking to the car, they always say its cool to see something so unique

Yeah alot of cops here in Alberta Canada kept pulling me and a my friends over just to look at the car,I also find that I hit the blinkers and windsheild wipers by accident but I too feel safer in rhd id rather not drive lhd anymore.
