Rust repair on hachiroku

I am buying a 86 hatch from this guy in minnesota.. he says its really rusted and the frame is messed up. I am still waiting on pictures.. but he says that I can get it for $500. Thats really good in my mind. My question is how much trouble would it be to repair rust damage?

It depends on how rusted the car is. It may not even be worth it though, especially if the frame is all messed up.

Why did you pick 2501 for your name? Did you see it in Ghost in the Shell 2?

rust repair is a *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* ,its a lot of work, and if the car is really messed up,then forget it.

Talking my 2 cents...

if its a GTS, and it is complete, it might be worth it as a parts car... other than that, you should be able to find a no-rust shell from just about anywhere (SR5) or keep hunting for a GTS and save the headache of the swap

Frame damage is no joke. Minimal frame damge can be expensive to fix. Combine that with rust and you've got more than you bargined for.

I think the question here is their rust damage or collison damage too? The combo would make it pretty bad....
