yay! another problem

just looking for ideas of what would cause an sr20det to run really rich? car is boggin because of too much fuel runs like crap from idle to around 4000rpms and then runs fine under boost.swapped eng coolant temp sensor, MAF, TPS, O2, engine harness, injectors, coil packs, ecu, checked grounds ... car was running fine earlier today. went to the body shop 1 hour later the car runs like @$$. so looking for ideas anyone have and educated one? got some other ideas and extra parts so im gonna start swapping again tomorrow, but just wanted to get some more input.

When were all of these parts changed and did the problem occur after said changes?

I don't know much, but I would start with the mass airflow sensor, that made my car fail smog here in CA because it was runnning too rich. Just a suggestion.

yea but i swapped it with a known good one... plus you would know if your MAF was bad because you wouldnt be able to rev above 2500rpms

i swapped all these parts to see if the problem would change or go away. nothing changed. i finally got my hands on the fender harness that goes into the relay boxes. im pretty sure that its not gonna fix it but the shop that tuned it said that i should change it before i give up and take it to them... mainly cuz theres nothing left to change

dont think a bad fuel pump would cause a car to run rich... it would make it lean out but if the regulator was set wrong or going bad it could cause that... but yea thats also been swapped out... plus if it was bad you would have fuel in the vacuum line. there wasnt any but i swapped it out cuz i had a extra one laying around

i might have the answer to all your problems

well i took my 240sx sr20 to the dyno and it ran rich so the specialist told me and the reason why is becuase i needed a upgraded fuel pump and upgraded fuel injectors.

But with those two things you might as well get a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel rail to handle the bigger fuel injectors.

I myself am goin to be running a 255lb fuel pump, jdm fpr, 550cc fuel injectors, and hks fuel rail and of course you need a SAFC, and have the professional tune you engine. hopefully that you get you going.
