This is a discussion on New rules for suspension??? within the TECH Discussion Forum forums, part of the TECH Discussion category; I keep hearing that there are new rules limiting suspension modifications to retain all stock pickup points... Is this true?...

This is also what I heard, in an attempt to outlaw custom-fabricated cars like the Viper in the first season.

You need to contact Mitch Wright with SCCA. He's in charge of overseeing the rulebook and carrying it out for Formula Drift. I dont have his contact info right now because I'm on the road, but if you email any of the Formula D guys, they should be able to provide that for you if you are competing next year. I'm willing to bet however nothing that major has been determined for the 2006 rule book yet.
