RX7, FC turbo 2 swap, No fuel! Wont start!
I just finished swapping a s5 t2 into my s4 n/a chassie. just finished all the wiring and it wont start. I have spark, the problem is the ecu is not sending a signal to my injectors to open because i have fuel pressure right up to the injector but its just getting stopped at the injectors. I checked the emissions harness injector plugs with a multimeter and there not getting any volts at all when i crank the car over, so im pretty sure this is my problem, i just have no idea what to do to fix this at this point.
Other components of the harness are getting signal from the ecu though (such as the winshield wipers) so the ecu is good and should be sending a signal. Anyone have any idea why it wouldnt be ?? And what i could do to solve this? I reallly want to start sliding this car around its been a while sence ive drivin it. Any help would be great thanks!! |

you should pose this question on a rotary specific forum like www.rx7club.com or www.nopistons.com

And no im using a s4 harness and s4 ecu. with s4 injectors. |

when you turn the cas does the injectors click? its prolly a bad afm. did you wire all the wires together from the injector resistor pack by the boost sensor? my guess is the afm you try and change it and see if it makes a differance.

what do you mean by turn the crank angle sensor? Like adjust my timing? I dont have a resistor pack on this harness, its a harness off a 88 rx7 with high impedence injectors so i dont belive i need to run one. I do have one though but i dont think putting it on will make a difference. I tested the AFM today with a mulitmeter and it read the correct resistance, so it should be good. Ill swap another in tomorrow though just to see. Its strange though, because the first time i tested the injectors they all read the same high ohms, and i just re tested them today and they are reading low ohms, like 2.5 to 4 which would mean they are low impeadance. But then i tested a set of series 5 injectors i have and they definatly are high impedance and they read 2.5 to 4 ohms like low impedence injectors, crazy, maybe something is up with my multimeter or im just messing it up.
