Timing on an SR20DET

HEy everyone, could anyone give me a heads up on how to check the timing on an SR20DET redtop. I think my timing on my engine is off. Can anyone help me? THANKS

get a timing light and conect a spark pluge wire from the coilpack to the spark plug(piston number one) and them time it from there, or go to a nissan dealership and have them do it for 80 dollars and hour.

Thanks, but if there is something wrong with the timing, is it easy to correct it? How would i be able to do so? ANYONE?

set the car at top dead center TDC (1st piston up and yellow mark on crank)

Pull the valve cover

pull cam angle sensor

line up 1st dot on cam sensor shaft

slide in so that the 2nd dot rotates and lines up with the mark on the cam shaft housing
