Mounts to the engine & chasis the same. Quick mod, but great "bang for the buck". Shorter gears keep you in the usable power-band more. Feels alot torquier that way.

what about the other way around? yknow, say i have a sohc tranny, will it fit the dohc engine?

both trannsmissions are the same. No difference in gearing, or mechanics, only in sensors.
