I made mine. Took bolts longer than stock and pirated some wheel nuts off my BMX bike. Made a great lift.

Hoodlifts seem to be pretty common for FC's.Every bit of cooling is needed for rotary's.

hood lifts

my buddy JunpoweR makes them...i got some on my car... big demands for his quality work in the bay ^_^ so far i know a few people who have bought them from him...he can make them for any car and his are stainless steel...aerodynes are aluminum and ive heard that they start to fail under the weight of the steel FC hood which i have...mine have been on for months and dont even budge ^_^ if you want some you can talk to him on AIM his AIM is junpower and he can make them for any car QUALITY WORK!

Hood Lifts FC3S

as all of you wil FC's will know..It's harder than most cars to lift our hoods..Because the mount for the hinge in back if at a 45 degree angle..meaning there will have to be bends to meet the bolt holes in the hood from the hinge..
Here take a look i did it to borh My Fc's

This Is what I did To My GTUs and also on my TURBO II

cant do that on an FC becasue the way the hood henge is built...
there attached at a 45 deg. angle...so you need to make a bracket... but you dont know FC otherwise you wouldnt say that...

Hood Lifts

I wish it was that easy on the FC =) you s13 s14 guys have it easy!!lol

And Yes the FC hood attaches 45 degrees at the hinge so i had to do a little bending at my sheet metal shop..

Thank you Driftfreak and Sil Beer for the info on the FC lifts..

Yep I used brain power but not the spacers or longer bolts..
For the FC i used
4 1\4 in. washers
4 3\4 in bolts
2 JunpoweR CustoM Brackets
(as spacers , will soon be adjustable)

Nah, sorry, I dont search the internet for Car parts, as much anymore. I just look for whole-sale shops, now a day.

have u heard of anyone doing this to an audi? i want to fiddle with it, but i dont think it will make a difference. maybe look cool, but then again, its a luxury car, not a drifter.

I used to own a audi A6 quattro but never did these hood lifts to it..Didn't think of it then..Well I'm sure any car will benifit from lifting the hood..Why wouldn't it..Lets heat escape for a cooler running engine.
