yeah im a noob is the tranny for ka24e and ka24de the same? can it be swapped out?

They are the same except for a sensor in the bell housing near the edge of the flywheel. It supposedly has something to do with timing. It is possible to use the twin cam trans on the single cam with no problems. I am not sure about the other way around because of the lack of the sensor.

it should work just fine i actually did this for one of my friends and his car runs fine.....no problems at all
