Taking off the Dash board???

All cars are basically the same when removing things, dashes, doors, seats, etc...

Basically, like said above, you've got lots of screws. You might have up to a dozen to remove. I'm not sure about the miata, but if the last 4 cars I've owned and my brother's mazda is representive of all mazdas, then yes, start unscrewing, hehe.

Remove all the screws. Afterwards, the whole dash should lift right off. Watch for some conncted wires. There may be a light or somethig attached to the dash. Just twist and remove. Don't try to force anything. If one part seems to stick, there may be a screw(s) you missed.

Well start with removing the glove box..
and get under the dash..

when you get all the screws out there is a wire harness that is held to underside of the dash with i lot of zip ties. you just gotta make sure you get them all
