Because the KA24DE is a strong torquy engine? Sounds reasonable to me other than I'm against bastard swaps.

theres a writeup on club4AG.. 2 of them.
one on them did a carbureted KA24 (which sounds just gorgeous) and the other one just kept his N/A, he also drifts it daily. overall, a very good swap. Really cheap too. the whole carbureted swap cost him around 600, plus a motor which you can find at any junkyard. oh and he also had to make his own transmission crossmember for like $4 at home depot. |
