help a brother out

so as of now im driving an 86 z31 turbo
the car is good motor wise the outside body desent
but horrable rust under

but i found an 86 corolla
i want to get it
but need the low down
on these bad boys o iknow more or less
the basic stuff
its a 5 speed
rwd has the hatch
and its carburated
im just confused on how many types of ae86 there are
if any one could help fill me in
oh if i should sell the z31 and go for ae86

rwd has the hatch ???really .. I think all ae86's are rear... most all before 87 is rwd..
anyways http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_AE86 that will have most all the basic info you need..
Just depends bro .. it's really personal on what car you have.

If it's carb'd it's an SR5 single cam unless someone converted it to a side draught which I highly doubt. I have no idea what kcdclan is on about, the AE86 was always available in coupe or hatchback. If the shell is clean, scoop it up, a twin cam motor can be picked up for dirt cheap. If the shell is rotted, it's worthless. Go lurk on club4ag, you'll find plenty of info but use the search button, every question has already been answered and they hate n00b's starting threads on beat topics.

*edit* Oh, and AE86 doesn't have anything to do with the year of the car and hachi-roku (or hachi as most dumb westerners seem to refer to it as) doesn't mean hatchback. Keep those two things in mind.

well im going down to austin to pick it up soon
but im curious about this dirt cheap swap you talk about where can i find somthing
like that
i think it has a 4a
but not sure
but if any one has any more info for me help me out
16 year old tuner jumpin to an ae86
