88 FC engine compare to 89 FC engine

Are the engines in the s4 different then the s5 engines? For example, will a s5 cold air intake fit on a s4?

S5 has lighter rotors than S4 and has a 8000 redline instead of 7000 in S4.

Don't forget hardened stationary gears,VDI intake manifold, different injectors, aux. ports are activated via air pump instead of back pressure

correction 160 hp for S5 =)

Compression Ratio: 9.7:1
Output(hp): 160bhp @ 7000 rpm
Torque: 140lb-ft @ 4000 rpm
Fuel Supply: 4 Injectors via Electronic Fuel Injection

True, you need an adapter to bolt the filter onto a S4 and the filter will bolt directly onto the S5 sans adapter.
