VLSD Parts?

I have a 300z VLSD that I am going to put on my S13 (240 for those that don't believe in body codes). Yesterday I priced the output shafts and rear cover from my local Nissan dealer...they are on crack! They want over $500 for the 3 parts.

My question, where can I get this stuff for cheaper?

P.S. There are no salvage yards around my town (madness).

Btw, VLSD=crap. Why not save up for a real LSD instead of fixing that one?

B/C it's still an upgrade from the open diff. Once I can afford a "Real" LSD I will get one that drops into the VLSD case. The drop in LSDs that I have seen won't work in the open case.

BTW, did I mention that I fried my open diff this weekend?

Thanks for the link, anyone have any other suggestions?

I would say look for a used one at a junk yard 40-75 bucks depending on ur local yard.
Or find a used one on partstrader.com =)
