IC arrived

the intercooler i bought finally arrived in the mail.

its a side-mount intercooler from the first-gen eclipse/talon. i'm going to front-mount it with some creative aluminum pipe work. i'll also probably end up using some piping from a Saab turbo (the 900 i think) which tapers from the size of the throttle body to about 2 inches (which is about the size of the aluminum piping i want to use).

the i/c is about the size of the one on the new Mazdaspeed Miata.

some of the fins have seen better days but it has been pressure checked.

with the i/c in place i hope to be able to advance the timing back up to about 10 degrees to regain some low-end response.

cool!! im still piecing my kit together im using a 1.8t jetta side mount, a 14b talon turbo and ported o2 housing!! ive got a long way to go!! at least your already boostin!!
