fuel thing in engine?

ok, so im still learning my way around the engine of my 240sx. i was looking aruond in it the other day and i noticed something was leaking gas in there. im not sure what it is, and thats what im here asking about.

its a cylinder about 3 or 4 inches tall on the left side of the engine bay, attached to the strut housing. fuel goes through it to the injectors. im sure most of u guys know what im talking about.

anyways, 2 questions. what is it and how much would it cost for a replacement?

nevermind...just did some researching and i now beleive its the fuel filter. ill havta get a new one from autozone or something tomorrow.

oh, and also, ive read that getting a z32 filter would let the engine rev easier...would a z32 replacement filter from autozone work just as well?

yeah it's a fuel filter. the one from the z32's is the one to use. just push it into the fuel filter holding bracket and it'll fit.
