exhaust fitting

I have an SR20 and I need an exahust for it... so does that mean I can only buy the exhaust for it if it says its only made for an SR20 or can I buy any exhaust for a 240?

The problem with buying a KA-specific exhaust is the smaller diameter piping, which is most definitely not optimal for maximum power from a turbocharged motor. It's not like the SR exhausts cost more than KA exhausts, so what's the problem?

I was just wondering because ive se some exhaust names then it says next to it in perentheses that its only for SR20DET...
So are you saying I could get a KA exhaust that would fit on a SR20 engine just with the bigger diameter piping
