gear oil
hey everyone. i just thought ide ask what kind of gear oil would be recommended to be put in the tranny and differential of my '91 240sx.
i was thinking about taking my car in to my auto class to change the oil and didnt know what kind to get. |

For those who wonder, 75w90 is good stuff. Mobil 1 makes really good 75w90 lubricants, but they're expensive.
Redline MT-90 is supposedly THE BEST for 240SX trannies. |

I'm using synchromesh in my tranny and for me it seems better than MT 90. Less notchy when cold.

yeah 75/90w is the way to go. brands such as lucas and royal purple are good. not sure wheather synthetics make much of a difference tho. but who knows...
