You need speed sensor from KA tranny for speed to be accurate and the SOHC tach does not work correctly with the SR.

The gauge cluster is compatible, but since the SR revs and redlines higher than a KA24 (both SOHC and DOHC) I would reccomend swapping the JDM gauges complete with the motor.

but technically you can use the gauges, right? i have a 91 se thats gettting sr finished up this week, so i will be ok, right? the tach goes to 9, so i will just have to know that red is 8, and can make a new face plate for my tach that moves the redline to 8 rather than 7 but use the same tach, right?

*sorry for all the rapid fire questions*

yes, just change speed sensor in tranny or you will be putting a km/h signal to a gauge that reads mph.
