auto to manual transmition swap

I am swapping a sr20det into my 240, but the 240 is an automatic tranny, so wat do i do, will it just go right in were the old auto. shifter is? do i have to take out the foot rest to put the clutch petal? thanks for the help

No you will not have to remove the foot rest but you will have to cut the brake pedel (the alternative is a bi+ch).
