ka s14 ecu on ka s13

I was just wondering if the obd2 ecu from a 96+ ecu would work on a dohc s13. The reason for this is the greddy turbo kit is carb legal but i dont want to get an engine swap. The e-manage is able to be tuned for obd1 but i wouldnt be carb legal.
thanks in advance

as far as i know on hondas swapping obd2 -> obd1 you have to modify the harness a little, the ecus on those are not plug and play. i honestly cant think fo why nissans woudl be any different as far as plug and playability.

Get an SR20 ECU and use a piggyback computer like GReddy E-manage. Mapping an SMT6 might by quite tricky in the SR20 motor, but once you get through all this it will work well.

Aside from the s14 ecu not phyically fitting since the ecu connectors are different, there are also more sensors on the S14 than the s13.
