Excuse me is that an L.S.D.?
How do you identify the vlsd in the 95 infinity j30, i have talked to a parts dept in a dealership and they just say some j30 have them and some don't, So how do i find one if knowone knows what they look like?

They WILL have a different part #. No matter what the dealer says, they will have different #s. If he can't find that, maybe he isn't looking hard enough or just doesn't care to help you.

yo, an L.S.D is nothing more than a new age posi-traction system.
with the difference that an lsd has a modified Gear Arrangement that allows for some difference in rotational velocity of the output shafts, but does not allow the difference in speed to increase beyond a preset amount. And basically there are two types of it dude. The clutch type one, and a fluid based one, called viscous differential. this is what they look like. i hope it helps. |

thanks but i do know that, it's just that not all j30's have an lsd at all, i want to know which model or designation of model has it so i can find one in a junk yard.
